The Jake Benner Medical Emergency Fund, established by Jake鈥檚 class (Class of 2013), is聽available to students who face medical hardship. His strength, determination, and positive attitude throughout a battle with cancer聽as a fourth year student聽was an inspiration to his class, school, and community. This fund, in his honor, is a means of paying tribute to a truly remarkable person who left this life too soon after losing his battle with cancer on June 17, 2013. Through the benefit of this fund, Dr. Jake Benner will continue to be remembered. Besides the class, many of Jake鈥檚 family and friends have contributed to this fund.
